As of 6:08 a.m. this morning, the 911 lines in Mineral County, WV are currently down. Frontier Energy is working on the issue, asking anyone with an emergency to contact their local fire departments instead until the issue is corrected. WCBC News will follow this story and update when the lines are operational.
Allegany County 911 phone lines are fully-operational.

Thanks for the update. We live in Frostburg. Got an alert at 6:03am on our phones that 911 lines were down. Nothing has been received since then indicating that things were back to normal. But apparently the 911 lines in Allegany County were never down.
