A Mineral County lawyer has pleaded guilty to wire fraud, admitting to submitting false pay vouchers for his work as a public defender.
62 year old Timothy Mark Sirk, of Keyser, admitted to obtaining $26,000 from the end of 2016 through mid 2018.
Sirk copped to forging the signature of a circuit court judge on documents and could get 20 years in jail and a $250,000 fine for the offense.
