According to Keyser City Police, two Keyser residents remained jailed Thursday as fugitives wanted in Allegany County on grand jury indictments. Steven Edward Baker Sr., 56, and Bobbie Jean Tasker, 33, were arrested Monday at a D Street residence in Keyser after police became aware that they could be at that location. Following arrest processing, Baker and Tasker were taken to the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta. Baker remained jailed Thursday in lieu of a $9,000 cash bond and Tasker remained there on full cash bond of $8,000 following hearings by a Mineral County magistrate. Police said the indictments in Allegany County against Baker and Tasker are for alleged drug offenses.
