UPDATE:
Westbound Interstate 68 was shut down for an hour in the Flintstone area after a vehicle accident Saturday morning. Allegany County 911 reports the call came in as a rollover and one person was transported to Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Firefighters & EMS from Flintstone, Orleans and Bowman's Addition responded. State Police are investigating.
INITIAL REPORT:
Allegany County 911 dispatched police, fire and EMS units to westbound Interstate 68 at Flintstone for a vehicle accident Saturday morning during the 7:00 O'Clock hour.
Those lanes of the interstate were closed for about an hour, with an advisory of reopening at 8:30 AM.
