Billie Eugene Smith Sr.,86, of Cash Valley Road, Cumberland was pronounced dead Saturday after being found in Mineral County with his vehicle that had caught fire. A call was received by West Virginia State Police, Romney Barracks, at 10:06 am Saturday morning concerning a vehicle found along Schell Road off U.S. Route 50 by two hunters.
Smith had left his home around 2:30PM Thursday and had failed to pick up a family member at the Country Club Mall at 5pm. Smith was last seen driving his 2002 Dodge Dakota and his whereabouts had been sought my Maryland State Police since that time. No foul play is suspected…
