More Swine-Flu Cases Reported in Maryland

After the first reported case of swine flu in Maryland was reported last Friday, more cases have been found around the state. According to WBAL News, the illness has been found in five children and one adult in Queen Anne’s County, according to the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.  All had direct contact with pigs. Symptoms of swine flu are the same as seasonal flu and include a fever and respiratory symptoms such as a cough and sore throat.
