Morriss discusses reasons for improving regional real estate market

The number of houses on the market in Cumberland and Allegany County has been shrinking fairly dramatically this year, and while COVID has had an impact on the real estate market, local officials believe there are more encouraging reasons for the trend. Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss, during an appearance on WCBC’s  “Dave Norman Show” said that Cumberland and Western Maryland offer an attractive living environment with more natural resources and outdoor space than many of the larger cities.
