10:15 AM UPDATE:
Two people were seriously injured this morning in a collision between a tractor trailer and what witnesses say was a garbage truck on Wellersburg Mountain, Pennsylvania Route 16.
Allegany County 911 tells us that the pair had to be extracated from the vehicles and were flown by Trooper 5 and Medstar for treatment at Conamaugh Hospital in Johnstown.
The road is expected to be closed for several hours.

Allegany County Emergency units are assisting with a motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Wellersburg Mountain, PA Route 16. There are unconfirmed reports that the accident is involving a garbage truck and a tractor trailer. WCBC News will have more information as it becomes available…
