A 2009 Yamaha motorcycle was being operated by Alexander E. Cosner (21 yoa) of Hagerstown, Maryland, was traveling westbound on I-70 just west of the ramp from Rt 40 prior to Beaver Creek Road. Cosner accelerated and attempted to drive between two vehicles, which were traveling in the left and right lane. He drove up the centerline between the vehicles and as he cleared the center of those vehicles, he swerved to the right striking the center rear of a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, which was being operated by Valerie A.
