Troopers from the LaVale Barrack of Maryland State Police and Allegany County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint Friday night on Route 36 in Midland.
The checkpoint was set up between Paradise Street and Maryland Route 936, and 151 vehicles were stopped, with no driving under the influence arrests made. However, two were charged with possession of marijuana.
Ten troopers and two deputies participated in the operation.
