MSP Investigate Hit and Run on I-68

On Tuesday, October 07, 2014, at approximately 9:15 P.M., troopers from the Cumberland Barrack responded to the area of westbound Interstate 68, east of Cumberland for a hit and run collision.

A dark colored four door passenger vehicle which was driving W/B in an erratic manner collided into the rear of a minivan, causing the minivan to collide with the concrete barrier.  The dark colored vehicle appeared to have been traveling with a Ford Super Duty pickup truck, with a bed full of items. The driver of the minivan sustained minor injuries.  According to a witness, after the suspect stopped to check their vehicle, they drove away from the scene, continuing westbound on Interstate 68, followed by the pickup truck.

The suspect vehicle should have extensive damage as it collided with the minivan as well as the concrete barrier wall.  The driver is described as a white male.  The driver of the pickup truck which was following the suspect vehicle was described as a thin white female.
