MSP Investigates Man Found Dead In Vehicle On I-95

Maryland State Police are investigating the death of a man found in a vehicle on I-95 early this morning.

The deceased has not yet been positively identified.   Cause and manner of death is pending the results of an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.    

Shortly after 3:00 a.m. this morning, state troopers were patrolling the area of southbound 95 when they noticed an SUV on the shoulder, about ¾ of a mile prior to Route 195 in Halethorpe.  The vehicle appeared to have sustained noticeable damage. Inside the vehicle, troopers found an unresponsive man, slumped over in the driver’s seat. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers from the Golden Ring barrack, along with the Maryland State Police CRASH Team and the Homicide Unit are on the scene conducting the investigation.  Personnel from the State Highway Administration are assisting with the single lane closure on southbound 95, prior to 195 in Halethorpe.
