MSP Mark Drug Arrest in Garrett Co.

On May 10, 2017 at 1612 hours, Troopers from the Maryland State Police McHenry Barrack, conducted a traffic stop on westbound interstate 68 at mile marker 7, in Garrett County, Maryland for an expired registration.  The traffic stop was on a white 1991 Chrysler New Yorker with West Virginia Tags.  During the traffic stop, loose raw marijuana was observed on the driver’s shirt.  A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed 6 grams of suspected cocaine and 161.7 grams of suspected synthetic marijuana. 

     The driver, Jesse Lee Parker (46 years old) of Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, was subsequently arrested and charged accordingly for possession of the cocaine. Charges for possession of the synthetic marijuana are pending results of laboratory test results
