On Saturday, Cumberland Police responded to a residence on Mullen Street for a disturbance.
Upon further investigation, officers learned that an assault had taken place at the residence. After speaking with the victim, officers observed visible signs of injury consistent with the statements provided. In a nearby residence, officers located the suspect involved in the incident. The suspect was identified as 28 year old Anthony Michael Ginevan of Cumberland.
Ginevan was placed under arrest and transported to the District Court Commissioner’s Office for his initial appearance. Ginevan was released on a $3,500 unsecured bond pending his appearance in District Court.
