According to the Garrett County 911 Center, five people were taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital and one was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown by HealthNet helicopter following an accident Monday on U.S. Route 219 just north of Glendale Road. The Cumberland Times News reports that Northern and Southern Garrett Rescue Squad and Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to the 9:59 a.m. crash. The Garrett County Sheriff’s Office investigated and the Maryland State Highway Administration also responded to the scene
