Late last year, Mylan sold its pharmaceutical lab in Morgantown to Viatris, and within a month, the new owner announced the closure of the facility, a move that will cut 1500 well-paying jobs in the region. Joseph Gouzd is the president of the United Steelworkers local that represents many of the workers, and says time is running out for the employees, who’ve been told July 31st will be their last day…
