Naylor’s Employee Facing Theft Charges

January 22nd, 2019 by WCBC Radio

On 01/21/2019 56 year old Joseph Butman Delosier Jr. surrendered himself to the Cumberland Police and was charged with numerous offenses related to the theft of items from Naylor's Ace Hardware on Industrial Boulevard. The charges stem from allegations that were first reported to the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) on December 18, 2018 by the owner of the company.

After an investigation that involved the review of surveillance video and a review of the business' financial records, C3I Investigators obtained charges against Delosier, who was an employee of the company at the time of the thefts.

Delosier was charged with five different counts of theft and theft scheme. He was charged via criminal summons, and is free, pending his next court appearance.
