Three players involved in tonight's NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Game have a tie to Allegany County through the Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament.
Nate Britt, of North Carolina, and Kris Jenkins and Phil Booth, of Villanova, all played in the ACIT. Booth was a standout for Mount St. Joseph, while Britt and Jenkins were teammates at Gonzaga.
In fact, Britt and Jenkins are even closer than that.
Britt's family adopted Jenkins, at the behest of his mother, so they were raised in the same household.
Tonight, they play against each other for the ultimate prize in college basketball.
