New Poll Shows Contradictory Views on Health Care Plans

The latest Goucher Poll shows some contradictory views when it comes to the health care question. The poll finds President Obama's signature legislative achievement is still popular in Maryland, where 63% said they viewed the Affordable Care Act either favorably or strongly favorably. On the issue of "Medicare for All," replacing private health insurance with a government-run plan, 52% said they strongly support or support the idea, while 40% said they oppose or strongly oppose it. Poll director Mileah Kromer said the levels of support for the Affordable Care Act and "Medicare for All" appear to be contradictory which she notes is an indication of just how complex an issue health care has become…

    The lesson being that either plan is more popular than anything the GOP has proposed – oh wait, the GOP has not proposed anything at all, have they? Opps.
