PennTex Ventures is entering its last stage of development for the Winchester Court shopping center and will open in early November.  "After many months of studying the LaVale and Cumberland consumer, PennTex Ventures identified retail uses that would fill a void in the market and would benefit existing consumers and future shoppers," said Ted Donald, PennTex Ventures vice president. "We are pleased to announce that Winchester Court is 100 percent leased and is on track for a November opening,” he said. "PTV believes Winchester Court will fulfill a need in the retail market area and will serve area residents with quality services and products."

The 37,000-square-foot shopping center, which offers 148 parking stalls, will include ALDI as its anchor store, PetSmart, Aspen Dental, U.S. Cellular and Mattress Warehouse.

ALDI, the nation’s low-price grocery leader, will open this fall in a free-standing 17,000-square-foot building. 

ALDI operates more than 1,400 stores in 32 states and aims to have nearly 2,000 stores in the United States by the end of 2018. 

Customers can find more than 1,300 of the most commonly purchased items, including nearly 70 varieties of fresh produce, sold under ALDI exclusive brands for prices up to 50 percent less than traditional supermarkets, according to survey of more than 6,000 consumers conducted in March 2014 by Market Force Information. 

ALDI offers a customer satisfaction guarantee that includes a refund of a product's purchase price. 

PetSmart, Inc. includes 1,404 pet stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. 

It provides a range of pet food and products, offers dog training, pet grooming, in-store pet adoption services and more. 

The retailer will occupy 6,000 square feet in the new shopping center. 

Aspen Dental will occupy 3,600 square feet in the plaza. 

The dental business, presently with 499 locations, provides access to affordable, quality care, including dental services that range from dentures and preventive care to general dentistry and restoration. 

Aspen Dental also offers programs and services including an on-site denture lab.

U.S. Cellular provides national network coverage for its 4.8 million customers. 

Currently, 94 percent of the US Cellular’s consumers have 4G LTE speeds. 

The company will occupy 4,000 square feet in the shopping center.
