The first born child of the new year did not arrive until the early morning hours of Jan. 2 when baby girl Aleeah Morgan Deneen was born at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. The Cumberland Times News reports that weighing 7 pounds and 6.6 ounces, Aleeah was born Friday at 3:29 a.m. Delivered by Dr. Surendranth Ekanayake, the baby and mother, Alyssa Deneen, of Hyndman, Pa., are doing fine.
