Nine Projects Submitted For Appalachian Regional Commission Funding

May 27th, 2016 by WCBC Radio

Other top requests include a technology classroom upgrade for Bishop Walsh school; community theatre enhancement  at Allegany College of Maryland;  Smart boards in elementary schools for the local school system; and Cardiac Telemonitoring Equipment for the Western Maryland Health System.  The Tri-County Council ultimately has final say over which projects are approved- and County Commissioner Creade Brodie Jr said he was disappointed to see the TCC alter the county’s priority list last year.
