There will be no freshmen team at Allegany High School this year according to new head football coach Bryan Hansel. Hansel, who was named interim coach in June following the sudden resignation of Tom Preaskorn, confirmed to WCBC Sports on Thursday that there simply weren’t enough freshmen signed up to field a competitive team. Bottom line, he says, is that the safety of the kids comes first….
