No Heated Debates Or Surprises Expected At Special Session

Maryland Senate President Mike Miller says to expect no heated debates or surprises next week with lawmakers convene in special session to reverse a series of so-called doomsday budget cut and approve a tax hike. Governor Martin O'Malley, along with Miller and House Speaker Michael Busch made the announcement Wednesday- indicating that the plan will see taxes raised 16 percent on the state's earners.  Miller and Busch, both Democrats, say they have the votes in place to approve the plan…
