Number Of Hot Button Issues On Marylands Ballot This November

It is shaping up to be a crowded ballot this November in Maryland with a number of hot button, controversial issues ready to be placed directly in the hands of voters. Marylanders will decide the fate of the state's same sex marriage law when they go to the polls this fall. In a letter sent Tuesday to Rev. Derek McCoy, who heads the Maryland Marriage Alliance, Elections Administrator Linda Lamone certified the petitions submitted. Joe Shipley, a local representative of the Alliance tells WCBC News that Allegany County’s elected officials were instrumental in securing support for the petition..
