NWS Issues Flash Flood Watch For Mineral, Hampshire & Grant

The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of eastern West
  Virginia, including Eastern Grant, Eastern Mineral, Eastern Pendleton,
  Hampshire, Hardy, Western Grant, Western Mineral, and Western
  Pendleton.

* Until 11 PM EDT this evening

* Slow moving thunderstorms will produce excessive rainfall today
  into tonight. Heavy rain is likely and flash flooding
  is possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
