NWS Winter Storm Watch Extended

WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING… 



* WHAT…Heavy wet snow possible. Total snow accumulations around 6 inches are possible. 



* WHERE…Western Allegany County in Maryland. Western Mineral and western Grant Counties in West Virginia. 



* WHEN…From late tonight through Monday morning. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Most of the snow will be on grassy surfaces, but moderate to heavy snowfall rates will likely cause road surfaces to become snow covered. This will impact the morning commute Monday. Expect reduced visibilities at times.



* AFFECTED AREAS: EXTREME WESTERN ALLEGANY
