A fire at 50 Oak Street in Cumberland last night injured two men, with one suffering 2nd and 3rd degree burns and being transferred to the Bay View Burn Center. Cumberland Fire Department responded just after 10 PM at the residence of Ernest Dolly, Jennifer Dolly and Jordan Preston.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s office says someone took a gas can, placed it on the porch and set it on fire. The occupant and a passerby both received burns trying to remove the can from the porch. Damage was limited to the exterior porch area, and estimated at $1500.
