On Saturday afternon, at about 2:30 PM, Cumberland City Police responded to the 300 block of Avirett Avenue for a disturbance.  This was the third time officers had responded to the area for the same complaint.

While in the police vehicle Hupp leaned back and kicked the arresting officer. Hupp was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance.

Hupp was held on a $5,000.00 bond and transported to the Allegany county Detention Center.
