The ambulance no longer stands by at football games because the City has dropped staffing of the on duty personnel from 13 – 11 and call volume over the same period has increased by 1000 calls. The on duty staff is stretched so thin there is no one available to commit to standby for the football game. It would need to be covered by and overtime crew to be committed to stay at the stadium. The School board budgets for overtime for City Police to be on site for each football game at Greenway but they do not budget for an ambulance crew o stand by.
