Vandalism and more serious criminal activity has picked up in recent months at Canal Place- and officials there are trying to determine the best course of action to address it. During Tuesday’s regular monthly meeting of the Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority- executive director Dee Ritchie reported that in addition to regular cases of graffiti and property damage, just recently a driver for the local Sysco business was robbed during a delivery to Canal Place.
