Ohio Man Arrested After Downtown Disturbance

On Saturday, Cumberland Police responded to Uncle Jack’s on N. Mechanic Street for a disturbance complaint.

When officers arrived, they were advised that a man, later identified as Gregory Kent Grove, 28, of Amanda, Ohio, was involved with an altercation inside the establishment. Moments later, Grove was located behind the Cumberland Times-News trying to hide from officers.

Grove was arrested and charged with trespassing on posted property and public intoxication. He was issued criminal citations and released pending trial.

    First someone from Oklahoma now someone from Ohio and all the tourist we have from Baltimore our tourism strategy is working quite well
