Ollie’s Bargain Outlet has won bids to take over Toys “R” Us stores in Glen Burnie and Hagerstown.

Toys “R” Us announced plans in March to sell or close all 800 of its U.S. stores after 60 years in business. The toy retailer, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year, has been running going-out-of-business sales since the end of March and held an auction June 11 to sell some properties.

The chain operates nine Toys “R” Us stores and six Babies “R” Us stores in the Baltimore region.
