O’Malley Non-Factor in 2014 General Assembly

When the 2014 session of the Maryland General Assembly convenes in January- Governor Martin O’Malley may likely be more focused on the voters of  Iowa and New Hampshire rather than the business of the state in Annapolis.  O’Malley, in his final 16 months as governor, has been exploring a possible run for the White House. State Senator George Edwards said that O’Malley’s lame duck status in the state, combined with his future plans may make him a relative non-factor during the 90 day session- having already passed the baton to Lt.
