Allegany County 911 dispatched Frostburg Police, Fire and EMS to the intersection of Main and Water Streets in the Mountain City after a pedestrian was hit by a car at around 8:30 Saturday evening.
That individual was taken to Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment, and police were looking for the driver, at last report.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
