A Frostburg home was damaged when fire broke out in the kitchen Friday evening. Volunteer firefighters from various companies, led by the Frostburg Fire Department, were called to the home at 109 Wood St. around 8 p.m. and quickly extinguished the blaze. Fire units were on the scene for about an hour. One person was transported from the scene with burn injuries
