The Maryland legislature joined the recent nationwide trend in legalizing same sex marriage this year. Opponents are now seeking enough signatures to place the bill on referendum in November. Pastor Bruce McBride of Calvary Baptist Church in Cresaptown told WCBC that local citizens can help put the legislation to a vote.
