Outside Consultant to Evaluate WMD Scenic Railroad

After struggling financially and otherwise for several years, a comprehensive evaluation of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad will be conducted by an outside consultant. The Allegany County Commissioners on Thursday expect to enter into a professional services agreement with Stone Consulting of Warren Pennsylvania to perform an operational audit of the railroad.     Stone Consulting has a good reputation in doing assessments like this. They are enthusiastic, sympathetic, and realistic. I would put faith in their findings.
