Over 4,000 Fans to be Allowed in M&T Bank Stadium for Nov. 1 Ravens vs. Steelers Game

 Over 4,000 fans will be allowed in the stands at the Ravens' next home game, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 1, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Mayor Jack Young announced Friday.

“I have reviewed the Ravens’ plan to return fans to the stadium pursuant to the Governor’s recent executive order, and I am pleased to announce we will be allowing fans at the next game,” Young said. “This exception takes into consideration the amount of thought and detail put into the Ravens’ protocols, as well as the size of the location and distancing possible.”

Under the plan, the Ravens will allow approximately 3,000 fans into lower bowl seats, 800 people into club-level seats, and 500 fans into suites. The upper bowl will not be open for the Nov. 1 game.

“We are excited to welcome fans back to M&T Bank Stadium,” Ravens president Dick Cass stated in a press release.

While the Governor’s order allows for up to 10% of the stadium’s capacity, it limits each section to 10% capacity. The lower bowl has a capacity of 30,000 fans, and the club level has a capacity of 8,000 fans. The total stadium capacity is 70,000.

“I want to thank the Ravens and their leadership for their diligence and attention to detail and for collaborating with public health officials to make this possible,” Young said.

For all sporting events, social gatherings at the venue, such as tailgating, are
prohibited. This includes:

  1. Any parking lots at/or associated with the venue;
  2. Any common space, including, but not limited to fields at/or associated
    with the venue; or
  3. Or any other space within 1,000 feet of the venue.
