PA man sentenced on drug charges

The Office of the State’s Attorney for Allegany County, Michael O. Twigg, State’s Attorney, announced on Friday, July 1 2016, that Thomas M. Kennedy, 24, of York, Pennsylvania, was sentenced on the charge of Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Cocaine.

  The charge is the result of the execution of a search and seizure warrant in the Cumberland area on October 6, 2015. Upon entry into the residence investigators of C3I Narcotics discovered quantities of crack cocaine and other related materials. Kennedy was sentenced to eight (8) years’ incarceration within the Department of Corrections. 

The case was prosecuted by Samuel Lane, Assistant State’s Attorney.  Mr. Kennedy was represented by Kelly Clark, Esq.  The Honorable Gary Leasure (Ret.), Judge of the Circuit Court for Allegany County, presided over the matter.
