Miss Maryland Outstanding Teen Chloe Wildman, a senior at Mountain Ridge High School, will be a guest at the 10th annual Miss Appalachia and Appalachia Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant this afternoon at 4 p.m. at Cumberland Theatre, 101 N. Johnson St. The event is open to the public and tickets will be available at the door at 3:30 p.m. Tickets also are available by emailing trwhetzel@yahoo.com. Greg Evans and Kimberli Rowley Dinteman will emcee. The onstage competition will feature miss contestants in evening wear, swimsuit, onstage question and talent, while teen contestants will be featured in sportswear, evening wear, onstage question and talent. Also crowned will be two preteens. Each group will compete in interview prior to the onstage competition. Winners will go on to compete June 21-25 in Hagerstown at the Miss Maryland scholarship pageant, a Miss America preliminary. Teen winners will also compete for Maryland Outstanding Teen during the same week.
