High winds moving through the region Saturday night into Sunday morning caused a number of power outages.
Potomac Edison crews, at one point, were facing the task of restoring power to thousands, including about 2000 in the Oakland area, and another 1600 in Augusta.
Allegany County outages were limited to a few hundred, with most of them in the Lonaconing area.
The work is to continue today.
