Pedestrian Struck in Frostburg

Frostburg City Police reports that its officers responded to East Main Street Saturday at 6:03 PM after a car struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk in the downtown business district.

Allegany County Emergency Services reports that ambulances made two transports, one of a high priority patient, the other of a person with lesser injuries.

Main Street was closed between Broadway and Maple for about 90 minutes while police and a reconstructionist from Cumberland worked on the response and the investigation.

Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the accident.  Call 301-689-3000 if you can help.
