Petition to Request Blank Stay as Interim Superintendent for One More Year

April 13th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Jeff Blank, former Allegany County Public Schools chief administrative officer, was named Interim Superintendent in July, 2019, to fill the vacated position.

In October, three of the members of the Board wanted to name him Superintendent. This action was objected to by other members of the Board. After receiving legal advice and information from the State Board of Education, a decision was made to begin a nationwide search to fill the position.

Then came the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Sign the petition at the link below to have the Allegany County Board of Education ask Jeffrey Blank to stay on as Interim Superintendent for another year so the search can be done at a time more conducive to applicants traveling for interviews.

If you want Blank to remain Superintendent you need to vote accordingly on June 2nd and November. This petition will be ignored by the powers that be. Wake up!!!

This is not really news. Inappropriate content. This is why they call WCBC an illegitimate news outlet.

Disappointed in WCBC. Be a news outlet not a news source. Fake News!
