On Friday, at approximately 10:00 p.m. the Cumberland City Police responded to the 300 blk. of Bedford Street for a hit and run accident. When the officer arrived, he spoke with the complainant who advised that a dark-in-color, older model Jeep Grand Cherokee struck his vehicle and left the area. Minor damage occurred to the complainant’s vehicle as a result. Anyone with information about this incident or any other crimes are urged to contact the Cumberland City Police at (301) 777-1600.
