As a result of reports within the Frostburg community about an individual with a weapon in the late hours of Saturday, March 3, 2018, and again in the early evening on Monday, March 5, 2018, Frostburg City Police reported to Mountain Ridge High School today in the hopes of speaking to individuals who may have information to assist with their investigation. At no point was there any indication from law enforcement that there was any danger or threat to students or staff, nor was there any indication that a weapon was present within Mountain Ridge High School during the instructional day.
