Police Log – 03/31/14

On Sunday March 30, 2014, Cumberland City Police served an Bench Warrant on Jacqueline Kyle, age 52 of Keyser, West Virginia.  The warrant was filed by the District Court of Wicomico County, Maryland as a result of Kyle failing to appear for trial on August 18, 2011 for a previous traffic arrest in Wicomico County.  Kyle was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond review.  She was held on a $3,000.00 dollar bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

CHARGE:  Failure to Appear.

 

SUMMONS SERVICE

On Sunday March 30, 2014, Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Dalton Brimhall, age 19 of Cumberland.  The charges in this matter were filed by a private citizen who alleged that on March 23, 2014, she and Brimhall were involved in an argument.   Brimhall became angry with the victim and spat on her, flicked cigarette ashes on her,  grabbed her fingers and bent them back.  This occurred inside of a vehicle on Arch Street.  The victim was able to get out of the vehicle and  entered her residence.  Brimhall followed the victim and would not allow her to leave until she assured him she would not press charges on him.  She was eventually able to get away from him and later file charges .  Brimhall was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGES:  Assault 2nd Degree, False Imprisonment.
