On April 22, 2015 Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Roy Lee Ross 3rd, age 34 of Cumberland, Maryland. The summons was issued as a result of a theft investigation that occurred on March 3, 2015 at Sheetz on Virginia Avenue. During this incident, Ross stole items from Sheetz and left the scene. Officers were able to identify Ross after reviewing video surveillance from the store. Ross was served with the summons and released pending his trial date in District Court.
