Officers were dispatched to a residence on Wills Creek Ave. for a report of a 911 hang up that appeared to be a domestic disturbance. Upon the officers arrival he knocked on the door several times before it was opened by Lauren Martin. She was upset and crying and had some injuries to her face. When asked what had happened she advised that he was beating me. A male subject yelled from the upstairs at this time and he was brought downstairs and identified as Joseph Simpson. The officers observed injuries to Simpson’s face also. Both subjects were separated and interviewed. Both advised that the other has assaulted them by hitting and scratching each other. Officers observed injuries to both consistent to what the other had said happened. They were both placed under arrest and transported to PH where they were charged and processed.

Charge: assault 2nd Degree
Lauren Michelle Martin Age: Furnace St.
Charge: Assault 2nd Degree
Both subjects were taken for a Bond Hearing and released on their personal recognizance.
