Police Log – 06-08-15

On Sunday, June 07, 2015 at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Cumberland Police Department arrested two females for acting in a disorderly manner on Greene Street.  Officers were already in the area of the 700 block of Greene Street in reference a large disturbance taking place.  Officers were working trying to clear numerous subjects from the area when two females failed to comply with officer’s orders to leave the area quietly.  As a result Kristin Renee Bible was placed under arrest for her disorderly behavior.  While Kristin Bible was being placed under arrest her sister, Nikita Loraine Bible began yelling and screaming which resulted in her being placed under arrest.  Both were taken to Police Headquarters for processing.  Each was issued a criminal citation charging them with one count each of disorderly conduct.  Both were released pending further action at District Court at a later date.

Arrested:

Kristin Renee Bible – age 23 – Cumberland, MD

Nikita Loraine Bible – age 27 – Cumberland, MD

Charges:

Each charged with disorderly conduct.

 

Disturbance Arrest

On Sunday, June 07, 2015 at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to a housing complex located in the first block of Baltimore Street in reference a male resident creating a disturbance.  Dispatch advised that the male subject was intoxicated and falling out into traffic in front of the complex.  Upon the officers arrival contact was made with the suspect, Theodore NMN Bell.  Bell was observed yelling and screaming at passing vehicles in this area.  Officers instructed Bell to go to his apartment and warned him against creating any further disturbances.  Bell failed to comply and began yelling at a subject standing on the sidewalk.  Bell was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.

Officers spoke with staff of the housing complex and they advised that on this same date Bell entered a community room of this same building and intentionally activated a fire alarm prompting the response of the Cumberland Fire Department.

Bell was arrested for a similar incident on 06/06/2015 but provided officers with his last name spelled Beall.

Bell was taken to District Court for his initial appearance and held on $5,000.00 at the Allegany County Detention Center.

Theodore NMN Bell – age 65 – Cumberland, MD

Charges:

Disorderly conduct, failure to obey, disturbing the peace, false alarm.

 

CDS Arrests

On Sunday, June 07, 2015 at approximately 11:30 p.m., a Cumberland Police Officer on patrol stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Bedford Street after observing an equipment violation.  The officer contacted the operator who was later identified as Megan Bone and spoke with her about the equipment problem.  While speaking with Bone the officer observed her to be acting very nervous as well as two other passengers inside the vehicle.  The officer requested a K-9 unit to respond and conduct a drug scan of the vehicle.  The K-9 scan resulted in a positive alert and the vehicle and occupants were searched.

Bone was found to be in possession of hypodermic needles as well as other drug paraphernalia.  The tow passengers identified as David Lee and Ashley Ricklemann were both found to be in possession of marijuana.  The way the marijuana was packaged indicated that it was intended for sale.

All three subjects were arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.  All three subjects were later taken to District Court for their initial appearances and all three were released on their personal recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

Arrested:

Megan Elizabeth Bone – age 23 – Frostburg, MD.  Charges: Possession of hypodermic needles, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ashley Nicole Rickelmann – age 32 – Hagerstown, MD.  Charges: Possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

David Antoine Lee – age 27 – Cumberland, MD.  Charges: Possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
